Photo | Video of the Week

Welcome to the Photo | Video of the Week. Each week, the Communications Office chooses a photo or video that exemplifies some aspect of life at Centre.

Photo submissions. To submit a photo for consideration on this page e-mail Adam Brown at adam.brown@centre.edu with "POW" as the subject, or send a photograph through campus mail to his attention. Be sure to identify the people, location, and event. Any photos relating to the Centre experience, whether taken on campus or off campus may be submitted. And remember, the more dynamic and original the shot, the better. If you're sending a digital photo, be sure to send the picture at the highest resolution possible.

Video submissions. To submit a video for consideration on this page send a CD with your video in Quicktime format to Adam Brown through campus mail. The video must be between 30 and 60 seconds at the highest resolution possible, and can either be raw footage or edited. Remember, the more dynamic and interesting the clip, the better. Note: photos and videos submitted for Photo/Video of the Week may be used elsewhere on the College’s Web site, in publications, or in other Centre communications.

CENTRE in Greece
During a trip to Greece, members of Centre Singers and Centre Trumpets treated international on-lookers to an unusual performance: they spelled out "CENTRE" in the orchestra of the Hellenic theatre at Epidaurus.  The theatre was especially interesting to this group of Centre students because of its incredible acoustics; a speaker in the orchestra can be clearly heard from nearly every seat.  The theatre can seat up to 15,000 people.
