BIOGRAPHY
Azita Osanloo joined Centre’s faculty in 2015. She is associate professor of English. Her special interests include the noir and pulp fiction genre, as well as translation and adaptation studies. In 2019, she was named a Centre Scholar. In 2021, she received a Kirk Award for excellence in teaching.
She earned a B.A. in creative writing and Russian from Oberlin College, an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Montana, and a Ph.D. in literature and creative writing from Florida State University.
