BIOGRAPHY

Christine Goble joined the Centre College faculty in 2024 as Associate Professor of Engineering. Christine has a combined 27 years of teaching experience in the Civil Engineering and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering departments at the University of Kentucky.

Christine earned BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. She is currently pursuing an MS degree in Learning Design and Technology from the University of Kentucky.

Christine's research focus is Engineering Education with an emphasis on hands-on active learning.

While at the University of Kentucky, Christine has received teaching awards at the department, college and university level, including the Henry Mason Lutes Award for Excellence in Engineering Education and the University of Kentucky Outstanding Teaching Award (Provost Award).
