Ed Carter is a euphonium artist and low brass teacher based in Lexington, Kentucky. 

Ed received his BM in Music Education from the University of Kentucky and then went on to earn his MM in Euphonium Performance with a certificate in Music Theory Pedagogy from the University of Tennessee. His teachers include Skip Gray, Matthew Hightower, Alex Lapins, and Brandon Smith.

Ed is currently finishing his DMA in Euphonium Performance at the University of Kentucky where he serves as the graduate teaching assistant for the tuba and euphonium studio. Outside of college, Ed serves as the Vice President and principal tubist for The Lexington Brass Band and teaches lessons privately in the Lexington Area.
