BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Hays is the Adjunct Instructor of Bassoon at Centre College. He also teaches at Jefferson Community and Technical College and at Eastern High School in Louisville, KY. He has previously served as Director of Bands at Splendora Junior High School in Splendora, Texas, Lomax Junior High School in La Porte, Texas, and Beechwood High School in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
Mr. Hays holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Music Performance (Wind Conducting Emphasis) from Youngstown State University, where he also served as a Graduate Assistant for the Bands. He was a student of Dr. Stephen Gage, William Slocum, D. William Byo, Richard Clary, George Boulden, Peter Simpson, and W. Harry Clarke.
