BIOGRAPHY

Thomas Becker began working at Centre in 2019 and has held a variety of roles in the Office of Admission since then. He is currently working toward earning his Master of Divinity Degree from The School of Theology at Sewanee: The University of the South, and he holds degrees in Leadership and Organizational Performance (M.Ed.–Vanderbilt University) and Economics (B.S.–Centre College). At Centre, Thomas served as SGA (Student Government Association) President and was actively involved in the Bonner Scholars Program and in Greek Life. He was born and raised in Newark, Delaware.

Thomas has spent his career on “both sides of the desk” as both a high school counselor and a college admission officer, and guiding students (and those who support them!) through the college process at Centre, his beloved alma mater, is a sincere joy. He works primarily with students attending schools in the Midwest and Mountain West as well as those in homeschooling programs. Thomas is proud to represent Centre as part of its membership in Colleges That Change Lives, a network of premier liberal arts and sciences institutions around the United States that prioritize student choice, accessibility, and personalized educational experiences for their undergraduate populations.
