Centre College will serve as the sponsor of a Literary Luncheon as part of the Kentucky Humanities 36th Annual Kentucky Book Fair on Nov. 18.
Since the first event in 1981, the Kentucky Book Fair has been connecting readers with local, regional and national authors in a shared celebration of reading, writing and books. This year, more than 180 authors will be participating in the event.
The Literary Luncheon is a ticketed event featuring Jamie Ford, the New York Times bestselling author of “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet” and “Songs of Willow Frost.” His highly anticipated new novel, “Love and Other Consolation Prizes,” will be released on Sept. 12, and will be the focus of this year’s luncheon.
Tickets for the event cost $50, which includes lunch, a book talk with Jamie Ford and a hardcover copy of “Love and Other Consolation Prizes.”
The luncheon will begin at noon on Nov. 18 in the South Exhibit Hall of Alltech Arena.
