Centre's Milton Reigelman experienced MLK's 'Dream' speech

As America honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Milton Reigelman, director of international programs and special assistant to the president at Centre College, shares his experience witnessing Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech with The Advocate-Messenger.
Reigelman (pictured right, circa 1963) was one of 250,000 people who participated in the March on Washington on Aug. 26, 1963. He recalls that the crowd was “completely drawn into Dr. King’s words and vision, uniting all of those people from all walks of life.”
