DON’T MISS: Centre Athletics live streaming games

Colonels Army Pep SectionCentre College is gearing up for the first home football game of the season against Defiance College Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. There’s nothing better than cheering on your favorite team, and Centre has many—23 varsity athletic teams, to be exact—but what if you can’t make it to a game?
Fortunately for colonel fans, Centre Athletics offers live steaming of home games for several teams, including football, volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. Find live streaming of games on the Centre Athletics Game Central page, where you can also see live stats and check on social media updates.
Many schools that Centre plays on the road also live stream games. Visit the Centre Athletics homepage and choose a particular sport and its schedule to view live stats, box scores, recaps and videos.
“Alumni and friends of the College are among the most passionate and loyal in the world,” Brad Fields, director of athletics and recreation, said. “Centre Athletics has a great story to share, and it’s our privilege to engage these people with this powerful platform.
“I hope folks who haven’t tuned in before will take this opportunity to check out a game online,” Fields continued. “Even to our friends and family of our visiting teams, we realize how meaningful it is for you to ‘stay connected’ with your student-athlete. If you aren’t able to travel to campus in person, we hope you enjoy this opportunity to watch them at a distance.”
