Centre College Press Distinguished Lecture
John Green — #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Fault in Our Stars, Looking for Alaska, and Everything Is Tuberculosis — comes to Centre College this fall for a wide-ranging conversation about his life, his work, and the experiences that have shaped one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary storytelling.
Green's work has been published in more than 55 languages, with over 60 million copies in print worldwide, and his honors include the Michael L. Printz Medal, an Edgar Award, and an Audie Award. Beyond the page, he has reached millions more as co-creator — with his brother, Hank Green — of the long-running YouTube channels Vlogbrothers and Crash Course, and as co-founder of Complexly, the educational media studio the brothers donated to the public as a nonprofit earlier this year. His new novel, Hollywood, Ending, arrives September 22.
The conversation will be moderated by Stacey Peebles, Centre's H. W. Stodghill, Jr. and Adele H. Stodghill Professor of English and chair of the Film Studies program.
Centre College faculty and staff receive up to two complimentary tickets to this event. To reserve, please call the Box Office at 859-236-4692, email nortoncenter@centre.edu, or stop by in person during regular business hours.
