Kendrick Durham to serve on NACA board of directors

Kendrick Durham, Centre College’s assistant dean and director of campus activities, was recently elected to serve on the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) board of directors.

NACA is a recognized leader in higher education that provides knowledge, ideas and resources for campus life. As an umbrella organization for college student life and campus activities, the association also provides a number of resources and programs that Centre utilizes on a regular basis.

As a member of the board of directors, Durham will help support the overall strategic direction, effectiveness and financial stability of the association.

Durham was first involved with the NACA as an undergraduate student at Bellarmine University, and throughout his career, he has been involved with the organization for professional development, talent buying and networking. In addition, Durham has served in various volunteer roles, and he wanted to be more involved in the strategic aspects of the association.

“It is an honor to be chosen by the NACA members to represent their interests,” he said. “As a long-time member, I can name many leaders in the field, including mentors and colleagues, who have come before me as board members, so I am humbled to be following in their footsteps.”
