College Raptor names Centre College a 2023 “Hidden Gem”

Centre College has again been acknowledged for its world-class education by College Raptor. The leading college planning platform named Centre a 2023 “Hidden Gem” in its latest guide that helps families find colleges that are the best fit and the best price.

Centre was recognized as the No. 1 “gem” in the state of Kentucky and is ranked among the 25 best colleges in the Southeast, just ahead of Furman University, Auburn University and James Madison University.

This distinction recognizes Centre as one of the premier colleges in the nation based on a combination of factors, including the number of applications received, graduation rates, campus diversity, endowment per student and other key metrics as reported by the National Center for Education Statistics for the most recently available enrollment year.
