GRACE DOHERTY LIBRARY
The fundamental mission of the Grace Doherty Library is to provide members of the academic community with access to resources and services that support the current and anticipated instructional, research, and service programs of Centre College. Further, in order to promote critical thinking and life-long learning, the Library will provide instruction on the effective use of Library resources and other information sources.

Danville native Mary Girard joined the staff of the Grace Doherty Library as the digital scholarship librarian. She completed her undergraduate work in art history and museum studies at Beloit College in Wisconsin and received her master’s degree in library and information science from San Jose State University in California.
Her first career was as a paintings conservator and Mary worked in Florida for 15 years. Her love of preservation has informed much of her work. For the past seven years she has been in the reference department of the Boyle County Public Library, creating and maintaining their digital archives. She
Karoline Manny received her Ph.D. in Medieval and Renaissance Spanish literature from University of Kentucky in 1995 and her M.L.I.S. from the University of South Florida in 2009. She was an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Rollins College before changing careers to become a librarian. At Centre, as in her previous library positions at Midway University and Seminole State College, she carries on her love of teaching by serving as an Information Literacy Instruction and Assessment Librarian. When she’s not teaching, Karoline enjoys painting, nature photography, hiking with her husband and playing with her dogs.
Jazmine is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Library Science Program and received her M.L.I.S in May of 2019. With experience working in medical, public, and academic libraries, her knowledge in the field of librarianship is wide-ranging.
Jazmine attended Transylvania University where she majored in anthropology and minored in music.
