RESIDENCE LIFE OFFICE
The mission of the Residence Life Office is to enhance the academic experience and to encourage an inclusive, safe, healthy, and supportive living environment for all Centre College students. We work to accomplish this by facilitating programs aimed at developing responsible decision making skills, creating a strong sense of community, and fostering respect for self and others in a diverse, global society. The Residence Life Office believes in empowering students to accept personal responsibility and to realize the leadership potential in everyone.
RESIDENCE LIFE STAFF LISTING
Julie Wheeler joined Centre’s staff in 2014 as a DPS officer. In 2019, she moved to her current position as coordinator of residence life. She served as staff congress president for the 2019-20 academic year.
Before coming to Centre, Julie served as a paramedic and emergency services manager in central Kentucky and abroad. She also worked as a substitute teacher and instructional assistant for Danville Independent Schools.
Julie received a B.S. in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University.
