Sights and Sounds: In the Classroom, Lab, and Studio

This Sights and Sounds looks at both professors’ and students’ perspective “in the classroom” at Centre College. Classes at Centre, writes Loren Pope of “Colleges That Change Lives,” “are designed to develop in students the ability to imagine and create, to think and reason analytically to solve problems, to integrate and synthesize complex information, to use language clearly and persuasively, and to make responsible choices.” View the show to discover how classes at Centre do just this. Judith Jia (professor of fine art), Nick Gowen ’11, Katherine Cantelou ’11, Preston Miles (professor of chemistry) and Ashly Mayho ’11 provide audio comment.
