Sights and Sounds: In the Heart of the Bluegrass


This Sights and Sounds looks at a unique Centreterm course that explores the historical development of bluegrass, the musical genre, beginning with its founder Bill Monroe. On Wednesday, Jan. 23, the group Cumberland Grass, including Shelly Hines-Brooks ’07, stopped by to play some bluegrass and get the students involved with the instruments—and some clogging.
