Summer Open Houses to be held July 20 and 27

Prospective students still have time to register for one of Centre’s upcoming Summer Open Houses on Friday, July 20 and Friday, July 27.
Summer Open House events are designed to give high school students—particularly rising seniors preparing to apply to college—a jump start in the application process. The events also allow students to get to know Centre’s campus and community better.
The Open Houses will begin at 1 p.m. in Weisiger Theatre with a welcome and a panel discussion with students, faculty and staff about what life at Centre is really like. Other events throughout the day include information sessions about the application and admissions process and campus tours. The Open Houses will end with a lemonade reception with members of the Centre community at 4:15 p.m.
For those prospective students who can’t make it to one of the Summer Open Houses, the possibility of scheduling visits to campus during the summer months remains open. These appointments are tailored to the student’s personal interests and give students the opportunity to go on campus tours, sit down with admission counselors or even meet with faculty members and coaches.
Centre students and admission counselors agree that Summer Open Houses are an enjoyable way of getting to know Centre—in person, on campus, with other prospective students.
