[VIDEO] Centre Adventure: Off the Beaten Path

hikingCentre College is uniquely situated to afford students an abundance of options for outdoor activities, with opportunity for adventure within a few miles of campus.
North Carolina native Daniel Wicker ’16 says during his four years at Centre he has discovered—and taken full advantage of—a wealth of recreational pursuits provided by the Kentucky landscape.
“There are a lot of really cool opportunities in Central Kentucky in regards to hiking and backpacking and kind of just getting off campus to relax for a while.”
A favorite hiking spot among Centre students is the nearby Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge, where Wicker and friends recently enjoyed the crisp fall air, beautiful foliage and a chance to get off the beaten path for an afternoon excursion.
