BIOGRAPHY
Gina Nicoletti-Bellinger joined the Centre athletics staff in 1991. Since that time, she has held a variety of positions during her tenure, including coaching, teaching, and being Director of the Buck Fitness Center. Currently, she is the Senior Associate Director of Athletics/SWA and NCAA Compliance Officer. She also serves as a Title IX team member.
Nicoletti-Bellinger has attended the NACWAA/HERS Leadership Enhancement Institute along with the NACWAA Institute for Administrative Advancement, NCAA Leadership Academy Workshop, and NCAA Effective Facilitators Workshop. She is also trained as a DiSC Facilitator and Habitudes Facilitator.
With the Colonels, she has administrative oversight of Sports Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, the Buck Fitness Center, NCAA Compliance, and Leadership Development.
In 2018, she launched the Colonel Performance program for student-athletes and assistant coaches, in an effort to build better leaders and teammates.
During the 2012-2013 academic year, Gina held the position of Interim Director of Athletics.
Prior to her becoming a full-time administrator, Gina coached the women’s soccer program for eleven years in which she brought the program to a top ten South Region ranking, and had numerous All-Conference players including two Conference Player of the Year Awards and four All-Region Players.
She received her Bachelor of Science from Elon College where she was an All-American Soccer Player, and currently is fourth in goals scored, tenth in assists, and sixth in total points in Elon women's soccer history books. She received her Master of Science from Ithaca College, where she was a Graduate Assistant Coach for the women's soccer program.
Nicoletti-Bellinger also holds a United States Soccer Federation “C” level coaching license as well as a National Soccer Coaches Association of America “National” coaching license.
