Noah Hughes

Noah Hughes joined the Centre College senior athletics staff in September of 2023 and was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Communications and External Relations in September of 2024.

Hughes joined the department from Spalding University in Louisville, Ky. where he was the Director of Athletics Communication. While at Spalding, he oversaw the day-to-day communication duties of 15 athletic programs while working with a group of over 20 student employees. Hughes also made a massive impact on the department's social media reach, increasing page impressions and profile reach by over 200 percent.

Before Spalding, Hughes worked in similar capacities at Maryville College, Northern Michigan University, and Union College, and was also a graduate assistant at both Union and with the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

A graduate of Berea College, Hughes serves on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) New Media and CSC U committees and presented at the 2023 CSC Unite convention in Orlando, Florida. He has also worked as a freelancer, providing live statistics calling/input for multiple NCAA institutions across all three divisions. Additionally, he provided media operations support at the 2023 NCAA Men's Basketball Division I Championships Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight Louisville regional.

Hughes is a native of Cumberland, Kentucky. He and his wife Erin reside in Danville.
