Centre Wellness Advocates

An on-campus student team trained and supervised by Health Promotion staff.

Centre Wellness Advocates (CWA) provide educational workshops and events on a variety of wellness topics, including substance use, bystander intervention, sexual health, nutrition, body image, health equity, and financial literacy.

Wellness Tip: Whenever I have a lot of pent-up energy or anxiety, I like to play an upbeat song (like Chappell Roan's "HOT TO GO" or Hannah Montana's "Rockstar") and have a mini dance party by myself.

Wellness Tip: When you feel stressed or overwhelmed, take 20 minutes away from your task, both physically and mentally. Approaching a problem in a different headspace is often helpful.
