Centre’s Pre-MBA Program helps you get ready—with courses that bolster your communication, analytical, and technical skills in Centre’s economics, finance, and business curriculum.

Curriculum

There is no required undergraduate major for admission to an MBA program. Majors that build problem-solving and analytical skills at Centre are excellent preparation for MBA programs. Some common majors include Business, Data Science, Economics & Finance, and International Studies.

Experiential Learning

Students engage in hands-on learning experiences and reflection to develop skills and increase knowledge retention.

Pre-MBA students often collaborate with local community members through CentreWorks, a place where students can participate in projects and experiment with ideas. Students have assisted entrepreneurs develop their startup business ideas, worked with city government on downtown parking initiatives, and addressed important community issues such as access to fresh food.

Internships

We're committed to helping students find quality internship experiences in the career area of their choice.

Pre-MBA students have participated in internships at GE Appliances, United Trust Group, Brown-Forman, JP Morgan Chase, Humana, Dell, among others.

Careers

Our extraordinary liberal arts and sciences education prepares students for meaningful lives and careers.

Graduates who participate in the Pre-MBA program at Centre have attended Harvard University, the University of Chicago, Vanderbilt University, and Duke University to complete their MBA. After completing their studies, they have then found careers in investment banking, consulting, business operations, strategy, and as entrepreneurs.
