Advisory Committees

- Athletics & Recreation (*Athletics, NCAA Faculty Representative, and Student Life)
- Charge: This committee will explore opportunities for all students to engage in recreation, consider ways to support student athletes, and advise on questionsaround the use of space and facilities for the purpose of enhancing well-being for all.
- Advises: Director of Athletics & Recreation and Vice President for Student Life
- Budget (*Finance)
- Charge: This committee will look at budget strategies and priorities of the College over time.
- Advises: Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer
- Career Readiness (*CCPD, Alumni)
- Charge: The committee will facilitate comprehensive and proactive approaches to prepare students for a successful transition into post-graduate careers.
- Advises: Vice President for Career and Professional Development
- Community Engagement (*Office of Civic and Community Engagement, Norton Center for the Arts, CentreWorks)
- Charge: This committee will look at ways to enhance and strengthen community involvement by the College as an institution, as well as for students, faculty, and staff.
- Advises: Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives & External Relations, Vice President for Student Life
- Community Health and Well-Being (*Student Life, Chaplain, Academic Affairs, Human Resources, and Finance)
- Charge: This committee will explore strategies to support the health and well-being of students, staff, faculty, and the collective campus community, and advise on corresponding questions and policies. For staff and faculty well-being, the Community Health and Well-being Committee will collaborate with the Human Resources Committee.
- Advises: Vice President for Student Life, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice President for Finance, Chief Financial Officer, & Treasurer, Director of Athletics & Recreation
- Diversity and Community (*ODI)
- Charge: The committee will support the work of the ODI and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across campus.
- Advises: Vice President for Diversity
- Enrollment Management and Retention (*Admission, CLC)
- Charge: This committee will serve as a resource and provide advice and support to the Admission Office. It will also look at retention efforts across campus and ways to support and improve retention.
- Advises: Vice President of Enrollment Management, Vice President for Academic Affairs & Dean of the College
- Experiential Learning (*Office of Civic and Community Engagement, CTL, CG, CCPD, Financial Aid, Library, Development)
- Charge: This committee will look at how we support experiential learning, to include internships, undergraduate research, study abroad/away, and co-curricular offerings from a holistic perspective (access and availability, assessment of those experiences, new opportunities). This committee will also look at student employment issues and opportunities.
- Advises: Vice President for Academic Affairs & Dean of the College, Vice President for Student Life, Vice President for Enrollment Management, Vice President for Human Resources
- Human Resources (*HR, ODI)
- Charge: This committee will be restricted to faculty and staff. It will look at policies and initiatives to enrich the workplace environment.
- Advises: Chief Human Resources Officer, and the Vice President for Finance, Chief Financial Officer, & Treasurer
- Public Art and Spaces (*ODI, Chaplain, Art faculty, Facilities)
- Charge: This committee will look at the role and placement of landscaping and art on campus.
- Advises: Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, & Treasurer, Vice President for Strategic Marketing Communications
- Sustainability (*ENS Faculty, Facilities)
- Charge: This committee will look at how we support and enhance environmental sustainability efforts on campus.
