Let's take a walk

Experiencing nature can improve mental health and increase the ability to focus.

Alex Williams, Centre's Nature Minded Well-being Coordinator has created activities that will get you out and about and feeling good. From discovering Danville to exploring Kentucky to soothing meditative walks, these hikes are low impact and beginner friendly.

Most hikes meet at 4:00pm in a designated area and depart between 4:10 and 4:15. Danville and meditative hikes just go. Anything requiring transportation will set up a carpool by way of a weekly mailing list that you can sign up for here.

We are planning on setting up "Break Hikes" for the time off as well, so stay tuned. Or email Alex at alex.williams@centre.edu for more information.
