BIOGRAPHY
Barbara Hayes joined Public Safety as Assistant Director in 2022. Prior to Centre, Barbara spent over 25 year as a police officer. She served the last four years as Interim Chief of Police at Kentucky State University. She has also worked and has experience as a firefighter/emergency medical technician.
August of 2025 she was named the Director of Public Safety.
She presently resides in Danville with her dog Precious aka Lil P.
