Elfers arrives at Centre College from Division II Thomas More University (KY), where he was the Offensive Line Coach in 2025. During the 2023 and 2024 seasons Elfers served as a Tight Ends Coach/Graduate Assistant for Thomas More, where he coached TE Mike Kirch to two All-Conference selections in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference during the teams first two division II seasons.
Prior to Thomas More, Elfers graduated from Hanover College (IN) in 2023. At Hanover, he was a player for three seasons and student coach his during his last season in 2022-2023.
Elfers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Hanover College, and a Master of Business Administration from Thomas More University.
Elfers is a Native of Cincinnati, Ohio.
