Richard "Alex" Alexander

Richard Alexander joined Centre’s Art staff as a glass studio assistant in 2022, shortly after studying glass at Illinois State University. He transferred to the Studio Technician in 2025. Prior to his glass studies Richard worked in many service related positions and taught mathematics for 5 years in the Chicagoland area. He grew up in Lemont, Illinois where he participated in football, baseball and track. Richard is always willing to help students and enjoys being in the glass studio helping and creating.
