Zach Greer

Zachary R. Greer serves as the Assistant Director of Public Safety, bringing over 17 years of experience in law enforcement, emergency preparedness, and organizational leadership. He joined the Centre College Department of Public Safety in 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience in security management, crisis response, and operational oversight. Throughout his career, Zachary has developed and implemented effective safety policies that enhance efficiency, communication, and overall team performance.

Zachary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Lindsey Wilson College, an Associate of Applied Science Degree and an Associate of Arts in Human Services from Bluegrass Community and Technical College, and a Diploma in Security Management from Ashworth College. He also maintains multiple professional certifications, including FEMA, OSHA 30, AVADE De-Escalation, and CPR/First Aid Instructor credentials. Known for his hands-on leadership and commitment to excellence, he continues to advance safety initiatives that promote a secure and positive environment for all.

Outside of his professional duties, Zachary is a dedicated family man — proudly married to his wife, Dakota, and the loving father of their 9-month-old daughter, Za’Riyah. In his spare time, Zachary enjoys watching movies and exploring new restaurants, with a special love for seafood cuisine.
