Daniela López Carreto, a community leader and activist in Coyolillo, a community in Veracruz known for its Afro-descendant population, will give a talk about how her community been impacted by migration. She will talk about the origins of Coyolillo, its cultural heritage, and the ways her community has been transformed by national and international migrations starting in the 1990s.
