This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing
Weisiger Theatre, Norton Center for the Arts
This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing by Finegan Kruckemeyer is a wonderfully magical play that contains everything from a lighthouse that transforms into a ship to a woman who reminds an entire city of the joy of music.
In this modern-day fairy tale, three triplets are left in the woods to fend for themselves by their woodcutter father. The sister's journeys from childhood into adulthood take them through a range of human experience and emotion that is both dangerous and magical. This Theatre for Young Audiences production is a coming of age story containing mature themes that has been viewed by audiences of all ages.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Norton Center Box Office (859.236.4692) or at the door on show nights.
This event is open to the public. Free for Centre College affiliates.
