Chair for Foundations of Art and Architecture at the Institute of Buildings and Design, Faculty of Architecture, TU Dresden, Prof. Dr Henning Haupt is a trained Architect and Artist. He creates structured but non-representative paintings, creating color spaces on a two-dimensional surface, that form the basis of various color space, three-dimensional constructions. Haupt's work utilizes artistic and architectural design precepts, so that by viewing the piece’s color space and composition, together they intertwine with our physical experience. Prof. Haupt will discuss his professional and creative practice, and his approach in the convergence of two unique disciplines.
